![]() The first cliché is OBVIOUSLY my favorite. There are three clichés that she has as a character. On the top of the cake, she just feels so generic. The only thing that’s the same as the mainline Amy was the same thing we got from Free Riders and Forces. I’m a bit disappointed to what we got with Amy. waited, and when she finally showed this affection… it was with a bot that revealed her love to Sonic… that she was trying to keep a secret…. When the first episode was released, she was introduced to us trying to become Sonic’s new sidekick. She looked like a mature Amy, and with the expression that she’s giving to Sonic, she must have her trademark trait: Her love for Sonic. When I first saw the official artwork of her Boom version, I was intrigued. It’s a bit of exaggeration for his character, but the Boom Universe isn’t always meant to be taken seriously, and judging by how much I enjoyed it, I don’t care. Shadow is the rashest character in the entire Sonic Franchise! Now don’t get me wrong. “I’M SHADOW THE FREAKING HEDGEHOG! I JUMP TO ALL CONCLUSION!” In fact, in Shadow the Hedgehog, I tried to defend that in his perspective, it totally makes sense why he would trust Black Doom, but does that really matter? He would do it anyways! And it’s why Shadow works with Eggman in season 3 of Sonic X too! Remember guys: In Sonic Adventure 2, Shadow had a memory that had Maria tell him, promising that he would do it “for all those people on the planet…” And that’s it! Nothing else! And what did Shadow assume? Revenge. But not me! Knowing my mixed feelings for him, I enjoy when the ever so loved Shadow is made into a joke! *Chuckles 2x* However, I want to defend this version. Mewtwo Death Battle! Shadow just looks like a gullible idiot, and so many fans don’t like it. He later then believes the alternate Eggman’s claim too. In the final episode, we did! It had some cool fighting music, Shadow made some more clever roasts, and it made you think, “will Sonic even defeat him”? Good writing, if you asked me… And then Sonic said Eggman tricked him, and without hesitation, Shadow believed him. ![]() After we got a cool fighting scene with Shadow wrecking them, which will make the fight with Sonic seem more intense. Shadow -although not at first- was duped by Eggman very easily into fighting team Sonic. ![]() Boom Sonic however, does not, and falls closer to a more stereotypical one. So, is it fair to claim Sonic as a cliché? Still, unlike most of them, Sonic stands out for having wisdom in his attitude. He’s the “cool character with an attitude” cliché, and if it wasn’t for him, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, and Bubsy the Bobcat wouldn’t have existed. Although that does not disprove the Deadly Six, it is true. In fact, he or she claimed Sonic was “clichéd”. He or she didn’t like that they were disliked for being one dimensional and “clichéd” villains. ![]() The writer said they liked the characters and was bummed out that they were hated. One day, I came across a blog about the Deadly Six. Kind of like a… “juvenile delinquent”? Still, he is loved by all and inspires those around him. He believes in freedom and living life to the fullest over rules, occasionally breaking them or disobeying those who don’t agree with his choices. However, he’s mostly known for his attitude. He fights for others and is on the side of justice. In the main games, Sonic is easygoing and has a good heart. ![]()
